THE PURPOSE
Project 119 is inspired by Psalm 119:9, which asks, “How can a young person stay on the path of purity? By living according to your word.” This campaign reflects our commitment to help the next generation walk in God’s truth by creating spaces where students can encounter His Word and grow in their faith. Student camps are one important way we can provide powerful moments for spiritual transformation—times where students step away from the noise of everyday life to hear God’s voice, build meaningful relationships, and deepen their understanding of Scripture. Project 119 is our way of intentionally investing in those moments so that young people can build their lives on the foundation of God’s Word.
Through a one-year partnership, Project 119 invites our church family to join the mission of equipping and sending the next generation. The vision is simple: remove financial barriers so every student can have a life-changing encounter with Jesus, whether that happens at camps, special events, or our regular service times. Our goal is to build a community of partners who believe in the spiritual formation of students and are willing to invest in their future. As we come together around this shared commitment, we are building the future for the next generation by helping them stay on the path of faith and follow Jesus for the rest of their lives.
THE GOAL
The goal of Project 119 is to enable our NextGen ministries to create spaces where students encounter Jesus, either here at Life or through partnerships with other ministries like summer camps. To do this, we are asking for 130 partners to commit to giving to and praying for our NextGen ministries.
THE COMMITMENT
Project 119 is a one-year commitment to partner with our NextGen ministries to build a long-lasting spiritual foundation in every young person we encounter. Our NextGen ministries include everyone from birth to 30 years old.
Through this partnership, you can help create life-changing opportunities for students to encounter Jesus, grow in faith, and build lifelong relationships with Christ and His church. These experiences often become defining spiritual moments in a student’s life. Through Project 119, we are investing in the faith of the next generation.
