Water Baptism
The very first story we read in the gospels about Jesus’ ministry is His baptism (Mark 1:9-11). The very last thing He said to His disciples before ascending into heaven was that they should go throughout the world making disciples and baptizing them (Mark 16:15-16).
The inspired record of the early church in Acts and the story of church history through the ages indicate that water baptism is a very important activity in the New Testament and the church.
We believe children are a gift from God and the future of our church family. Child dedication is a public commitment you make before God, your church, and your family.
This dedication provides you, as parents, an opportunity to express publicly your desire to lead and spiritually nurture your child in cooperation with the Holy Spirit, so your child will develop a desire to love God and love others.
