THE PURPOSE
The Cyrus Initiative is inspired by Ezra 1:2–3, where God moved the heart of King Cyrus to declare, “The Lord, the God of heaven … has appointed me to build a temple for him.” Just as God used Cyrus to rebuild and restore His house, this campaign reflects our commitment to faithfully steward, maintain, and develop the spaces where God’s people gather.
Our buildings are more than walls and roofs — they are sanctuaries where lives are changed, where families are formed, and where the gospel is heard week after week. From the foundations beneath our feet to the roofs above our heads, every space requires faithful care so that ministry can flourish without interruption. The Cyrus Initiative is our way of intentionally investing in the home of our church, so that nothing stands between people and the message of Jesus.
Through a one-year partnership, the Cyrus Initiative invites our church family to join the work of building, restoring, and preparing. The vision is simple: keep our facilities ready, safe, and equipped for whatever God calls us to next — whether routine maintenance or strategic development. As we come together around this shared commitment, we are caring for the place God has given us and preparing it for the next generation of worship, discipleship, and outreach.
THE GOAL
The goal of the Cyrus Initiative is to ensure that our church facility remains a place ready for ministry — well maintained, properly equipped, and continually developed for future growth. To do this, we are asking for 130 partners to commit to giving toward and praying for the upkeep, improvement, and expansion of our church home.
THE COMMITMENT
The Cyrus Initiative is a one-year commitment to partner with our church in caring for the place where ministry happens. Our church home includes every space God uses to gather His people — from the parking lot to the platform, from the nursery to the sanctuary.
Through this partnership, you can help ensure our spaces remain safe, welcoming, and prepared for every ministry, every service, and every event. These are the rooms where lives are changed and the gospel echoes week after week. Through the Cyrus Initiative, we are stewarding what God has entrusted to us so this place can serve our community for generations to come.
PARTNERSHIP LEVELS
LEVEL 1: $5/week ($260/year) covers a month of essential maintenance supplies
LEVEL 2: $15/week ($780/year) funds an annual HVAC or A/V system service
LEVEL 3: $30/week ($1560/year) contributes toward a major renovation or facility upgrade
